OUTREACH Giving and being involved in community outreach projects is something very important to us at Oceanside Auto. Below you will find the outreach program(s) we are involved in and learn how you can help make a difference as well. Our Current Outreach Program(s): Birthday Wishes: www.birthdaywishes.org Birthday Wishes is a non-profit organization that brings birthday parties to homeless children. Birthday Wishes currently throws parties for more than 2,000 children living in over 80 shelters across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. At Birthday Wishes, we believe that every child, regardless of their living situation, deserves to celebrate their birthday joyfully, surrounded by friends, family and others who care. Through our community-based approach, local Birthday Wishes volunteers go into shelters and throw parties for the birthday children each month. We handle every facet of the parties – from planning to implementation – including gifts, games, party favors, entertainment and birthday cake. We rely on both in-kind and monetary donations
carry out our mission. We are always looking for dedicated volunteers for one-time experiences and ongoing
commitments…volunteering with Birthday Wishes is very flexible and of course, lots of fun! If you would like
to contribute to Birthday Wishes, below is a wish list for toys and supplies, as well as various levels of monetary

Let's dig a well together! Life Today Internaional is set to dig 400 wells
in 20 nations around the world in addition to repairing wells in Haiti. Add your spare change to the
water jug in the office and we will match it when the jug is filled. Let's see how many wells we can dig
together.

Relief: Through the ongoing Water for LIFE program already in Haiti, your
support will help restore 200 water wells on the island, providing desperately needed clean
water.

Outreach International is excited to enter its 11th year of
Mission: Water for Life. This life-giving outreach is one of the
most, practical and exciting demonstrations of God’s love among the poor because clean water changes everything
in life.
Sadly,
clean water is often unattainable to the poor because of the cost and equipment necessary to dig deep enough to
reach it. When we see the thirsty, the love of
Christ compels us to “refresh others” with the gift of life. That is the heart of Jesus and His commission to
us.
Mission: Water for LIFE
not only delivers fresh, clean water with every well, but the wells become an ongoing witness of the love of
God in the community. Every well is a wonderful gift of life, made possible by friends in “distant
lands.”
In the
past 10 years, a staggering amount of clean water has been produced through the drilling of fresh water wells.
With more than 2500 wells now in use, each serving an average of 1000 people, the estimated number of
changed lives reaches 2.5 million.
The
average cost of each well is $4,800. Each well provides water for an average of 1,000 people or more.
This means that a child can receive a lifetime of
clean water for as little as $4.80.
